I associate this painting with titanic work on myself and my perception of the surrounding reality. Human personality is not just consciousness, thinking or mind, but It's all of these together. Joy always inflates the stomach with "butterflies", pain in the soul always resonates in the weakest parts of the body. And all of that grows and changes like a tree and where wounds run out of sap and then cicatrizes and overgrows.
